AB 5069-OB16 B Series configuration issue

Hello All,

I am having an issue configuring a AB 5069-OB16 B Series in Studio 5000 V31. I am using a CompactLogix 5380. When I go to configure the module it only list A series and up to revision 2. My output module is B series and revision 3.012. I figure I need to upload an update to Studio to recognize the module so I did some searching on the Downloads web site and found the following EDS updates. Is this what I need, and if so how do I load them?

Hi Matt,

That’s exactly what you need to do; you can update EDS files by using the “EDS Hardware Installation Tool” that comes installed with your Studio 5000 software. Once you open up the tool, it’s fairly easy to bring in new files.
