Hello there,
I am working on a project that involves integrating PLCs with cloud based systems & I am Interested about the best approach to make this seamless; The idea is to collect real time data from multiple sensors and machines, process it in the cloud & then send commands back to the PLC.
I have come across some resources that suggest using API based integrations for this & I was wondering if anyone here has experience using mulesoft API & integration with PLC systems? Is this a viable solution for handling both the data flow and the control systems, or would another approach be better suited for industrial environments?
As well, I found these resources when doing research on this MSG versus Produced/Consummed model for PLC Communication witch is good & if anyone have any Any tips, best practices or tools you have used to integrate PLCs with the cloud would be appreciated
