PanelView 800 (2711RT10T) and Studio 5000 standard edition(version 33.0)

Hi Forum :slight_smile:

I’m a newbie and I need to achieve a monitoring project with the following equipment:

  • Controller 1769 L36ERM
  • 1769 SM2 Modbus module
  • 1769 IQ16 module
  • 1769 OW16 relay module
  • 1769 PB4 24VDC power supply
  • 2711 RT10T PanelView 800 HMI

And I have Studio 5000 (Logix and View) to program it all.

My question: is PanelView 800 compatible with Studio 5000 ??
(I have tried to create a new “View project” but when selecting a HMI, I can only see PanelView 5310 and PanelView 5510!)

What can I do???

Hi Dan,

The PanelView 800 terminals are designed using Connected Components Workbench, they don’t work with Studio 5000 as you discovered. You can download a free version of Connected Components Workbench directly from Rockwell. There’s an advanced version that you may need to purchase to work with HMIs; I’m not that familiar with the PV800 line.
