I’m currently looking to buy 2 photo eye sensors. I watched one of Vlad video and that Sick sensor he works when it’s turn on and see the reflector the digital input turn to 0.
I’m looking to buy the photo eye sensors with reflectors so when an object infront of sensor the digital input in control tags turn to 1 so its on in PLC.
Vlad, I’m looking to buy either Sick or Allen Bradley and which products do you recommend?

I’ve worked with all sorts of those (SICK, AB, ifm, Banner) and to be honest they should all work for a straightforward application. I’d lean toward SICK for durability, but I believe all brands have metal housing sensors. Besides that, check what your supplier is carrying, what the lead times are, and what the prices look like for each brand; it might be worth installing and stocking whatever they carry and have a reasonable lead time on.
