I’m currently looking for work as a PLC programmer. However, I can’t disclose most of my projects from my previous employers at interviews. What do you respond when you’re asked to talk about projects, show code, etc?

You can answer like:
I have work with the following software: Studio 5000, Tia Portal, etc.
I have X years of experience.
I have developed logics for dosing of X products, Start and stop of pumps, etc.

It’s always a touchy subject to disclose any previous projects. I’ve typically discussed high level things I had done and left out the details that may be proprietary.
I do not know anything about PLC programing , I have an associate degree in computer science and I’m willing to work in the field. is there someone who can help me with?
