Working in a Large Manufacturing Facility with many RS5000 Controllers, I came across one particular instance, in which everyone seems to want to blame the outside programmer for, is that these machines that run on RS5000, in which clearly the tags are there, but the Ladder is not. They have said that the programmer has locked the ladder view. I have tried 20 different aspects of making sure the ladder view was not just me and not just or other Electricians on staff. Pretty sure its not structured text ether. So I though I’d reach out to my fellow “RS Wizards” and see if it real that you can lock out ladder view. And if it is proprietary programming how would you know??
